BMW i3 & i8 “With An Attitude” Via West Coast Customs … Coming To SEMA
Teaming up with the i division of BMW, West Coast Customs — known for thinking outside the box — had some fun with a BMW i3 for this year’s SEMA trade show. The BMW i3’s styling is already unique, but if you want even more out-of-the-box electric car styling, have a look. BMW actually gave West Coast Customs a few BMW i3s and a BMW i8.
“People want to be sustainable, they want to have a cool car, but they want to be a little bit different.” The i3 is already considered by some experts to be the most advanced vehicle on the planet, and the i8 is an amazing car, but how about the makeovers from West Coast Customs?
A BMW email sent our way highlighted the modifications from Ryan Friedlinghaus of West Coast Customs with a lot of enthusiasm. Will BMW look to roll any of these ideas into a production version of the i3 or i8 or another electric vehicle?
I love my Nissan Leaf and melt in a Tesla, but still, I advise test driving the BMW i3. The drive is distinctly different and exciting as well.
There is nothing like the experience of the BMW i3 due to the light weight and the recycled materials used. This is not the first time BMW highlighted the i3 at a SEMA show. BMW’s focus on continuously bringing more eyeballs to the unique and advanced nature of the i3 seems like a positive sign for what BMW thinks is important in the coming years in the auto world.
