The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a dumpster fire Tuesday evening at Titan Machinery.

The fire was called in at 6:16 p.m., according to Stutsman County Communications Center. JFD was on scene with four units and 23 firefighters at 6:28 p.m., and had the fire out and cleared the scene at 6:52 p.m.

JFD Chief Jim Reuther said the fire was of unknown origin. There was no damage to the building or other property, he said

Titan Machinery employees used a forklift to move the dumpster away from the building in the event the fire rekindled, Reuther said.
