Union Environment and Forest Minister Bhupendra Yadav has said that the BJP does not consider Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav as a Shudra.

Union Minister Yadav also refrained from giving a direct answer to a question about the BJP’s stand on conducting caste census. He said the BJP is committed to everyone’s support and everyone’s development.

Recently UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya had reportedly said that he supports the caste census.

Talking to reporters here on Sunday, Union Minister Yadav said that some people want to spread hatred in the society, but we are working honestly following the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas.’

On Akhilesh Yadav’s statement of claiming himself as a Shudra, Union Minister Yadav said the BJP does not believe so.

When political debate started over Ramcharitmanas, Akhilesh Yadav had said that he would ask Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the assembly whether he is a Shudra or not.

The Union Minister said the Budget-2023 will speed up the work done during the last nine years for promoting good governance, Antyodaya, self-reliance, poor, women and backward people.

He said: “In the Economic Survey, we saw the Government of India had done the work to empower the youth and women and the employment and health sector. This budget is going to fulfill the aspirations of the general public and will enhance the opportunities for the youth.”

“This budget will increase the green growth of the country. For green growth, it is necessary to increase the fertility of the soil, for which organic farming has to be promoted,” he added.
